~God Calls Us to Worship Him~
Call to Worship

Come, let us bless the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he
has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for us.

~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sin and Need to God

Almighty God, you have raised Jesus from death to life, and crowned him Lord of all. We confess that we have been slow of heart to believe and pursue the heavenly realities promised in Scripture and made certain and sure by the resurrection and ascension of Christ, His intercession for us, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon His Church. Having often failed to acknowledge Christ’s rule in our lives, we have gone along with the ways of the world and failed to give him glory and obedience. Forgive us and create new affections in our hearts, that we may be your faithful people, seeking the city that is to come and obeying the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ, who rules the world and is head of the church, his body. In his name we pray, Amen.

We Silently Confess Our Sins
The Grace of God in Christ 1 John 3:1-3

Song God Delights in You (CCLI#251645)
Calling every daughter, calling every son,
All who’ve been adopted through a sacrifice of love.
There’s no need for you to fear; your debts have all been cleared.
Calling all the downcast who feel like they’re alone, Anyone who’s longing for a family of their
own, God’s prepared a place for you. He’s calling you to —
Chorus: Come and sing — come and dance.
The Father’s singing over you. Come rejoice — and be glad. For God delights in you ̶ in you.
Calling all who’ve wandered, gone off on their own, Anyone who wonders if they’re welcome back at
home, The God of grace makes all things new; He’s calling you to —
Chorus
(Bridge)
You chose us to be the objects of Your love, In spite of all we have done.
You gave Your beloved Son to die for us,
To make us daughters and sons. Chorus (twice)

We Confess Our Faith The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born
of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he
descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is
seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness
of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
