Prelude

~God Calls Us to Worship Him~

Call to Worship Psalm 100

Pastor
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Congregation
Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Pastor
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Congregation
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Song Almighty Maker (CCLI#251645)
Who but the Lord set the bound’ries of light,
Hung the stars in the night?
Who but the Lord drew the face on the moon
Made the planets to move?
Who but the Lord tells the clouds when to pour,
Thunder to roar? Amazing are Your works.

CHORUS
Almighty Maker,
You command heaven and earth
By the power of Your Word.
Be praised forever.
Almighty Maker, All creation sings of You.
Glory fills all that You do.
Be praised forever, ever, evermore.

Who but the Lord could have dreamed of the plan
That would save fallen man?
Who but the Lord washes rebels with blood,
Making mercy a flood?
Who but the Lord could give life through a cross
Rescuing us?
Amazing are Your ways.

BRIDGE
All things are from You. All things are through You.
O God, the great I AM, All things are for You.
All things are to You, O God, the great I AM.

Prayer of Worship

~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sin and Need
Merciful God, we confess to you our sins as a church. We have not loved you with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our might. We have questioned your love and faithfulness and have not been thankful, putting you to the test. We have not loved one another as Christ loved us. We have not forgiven one another as we have been forgiven. We have not given ourselves in love and service for the world as Christ gave Himself for us. Father, forgive us. May your Holy Spirit empower us to put away all idolatry and falsehood and ungodly anger and live as by Your mercy you have called us to live. Through Jesus Christ our Risen Lord and Savior and for His Glory. Amen.

We Silently Confess Our Sins

Song: His Mercy Is More (CCLI#251645)
What love could remember, no wrongs we have done?
Omniscient, all-knowing, He counts not their sum.
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore.
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.

Chorus:
Praise the Lord! His mercy is more, Stronger than darkness,
New every morn’. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.

What patience would wait as we constantly roam?
What Father so tender is calling us home?
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor;
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. Chorus

What riches of kindness He lavished on us!
His blood was the payment; His life was the cost.
We stood ‘neath a debt we could never afford.
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. Chorus (3x)

Hymn Christ, of All My Hopes the Ground (518)

We Confess Our Faith Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into
hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into
heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion
of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the
life everlasting. Amen. (*universal)
