Welcome

Prelude
~God Calls Us to Worship Him~
Call to Worship Selections from Psalm 103

Pastor: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me,
Bless His holy name!Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity,
Who heals all your diseases,

People: Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,

Pastor: For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His steadfast love (hesed)
Toward those who fear Him;

People: As for man, his days are like grass;
He flourishes like a flower of the field;
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place knows it no more.

All: But the steadfast love of the Lord
Is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him.

Hymn of Worship You’re the Lion of Judah by Robin Mark

You’re the Lion of Judah, the Lamb who was slain;
You ascended to Heaven and evermore will reign.
At the end of the age when the earth You reclaim,
You will gather the nations before You.
And the eyes of all men will be fixed on the Lamb
Who was crucified.
With wisdom and mercy and justice You’ll reign
at Your Father’s side.

Chorus: And the angels will cry —“Hail the Lamb —
Who was slain for the world — rule in pow’r,” —
And the earth will reply — “You shall reign —
As the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords.”

There’s a shield in our hand and a sword at our side.
There’s a fire in our spirits that cannot be denied.
As the Father has told us, for these You have died,
for the nations who gather before You.
And the ears of all men need to hear of the Lamb
Who was crucified,
Who descended to hell, yet was raised up to reign
at His Father’s side. (Chorus Twice)

~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sins Psalm 32:5

I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Our hearts overflow with thanksgiving when we hear the proclamation that Jesus “was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 4:25

We Silently Confess Our Sins

Song of the Redeemed: Isaiah 35:10

Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return,
And come with singing unto Zion,
And everlasting joy shall be upon their head.
They shall obtain gladness and joy
And sorrow and mourning shall flee away (Repeat)

We Confess Our Faith: Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church (universal church).
the communion of saints
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
