~God Calls Us to Worship Him~
Call to Worship
Zephaniah 3:14-17

Leader: Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel!
Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

People: The LORD has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies.

Leader: The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.

People: On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

All: The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by his love;
He will exult over you with loud singing.

~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sins

We confess, dear Lord Jesus, that we have sinned as the apostle Peter sinned, as he shamefully denied You when You were on trial before the rulers of the Jews. So have we shamefully denied You while You have been on continuous trial before the whole world. Forgive us dear Father in heaven and grant us we pray, through the power of your Holy Spirit to receive the courage and loving boldness that then possessed Peter on the day of Pentecost. As the Holy Spirit empowered Him on that grand Day of the New Creation, may He also empower us to proclaim the Savior’s INFINITE GLORY to our families and our lost world.

We Silently Confess Our Sins

Remain seated to Sing this Song of the Redeemed: Isaiah 35:10 (Psalm 149:5 “Let them sing for joy on their beds”)

Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord
Shall return and come with singing unto Zion
And everlasting joy shall be upon their head
They shall obtain gladness and joy
And sorrow and mourning shall flee away (Repeat)

The Grace of God in Christ

We Confess Our Faith: Heidelberg Catechism # 32

Leader: But why are you called a Christian?

People: Because I am a member of Christ by faith, and thus a partaker of His anointing, that I may confess His Name, present myself a living sacrifice of thanksgiving to Him, and with a free and good conscience fight against sin and the devil in this life, and hereafter reign with Him eternally over all creatures.
