Welcome

Prelude
~God Calls Us to Worship Him~
Call to Worship
Psalm 92:1-5, 12-15

Pastor
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your
steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the
harp, to the melody of the lyre.

Congregation
For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. How
great are your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep!

Pastor
The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the
house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God.

Congregation
They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the LORD is
upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

All
Amen! Let us praise our God together

We Corporately Confess Our Sin and Need

Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Hymn Jesus, My Great High Priest (CCLI#251645)

Jesus, my great High Priest offered His blood and died;
My guilty conscience seeks no sacrifice beside.
His powerful blood did once atone,
And now it pleads before the throne;
And now it pleads before the throne.

To this dear Surety’s hand will I commit my cause;
He answers and fulfills His Father’s broken laws.
Behold my soul at freedom set; My Surety paid the dreadful debt;
My Surety paid the dreadful debt.

Chorus: Now I approach the throne, and I have confidence.
Jesus, my great High Priest offered His blood and died.
Now, I approach the throne, and I have confidence.
Jesus, my great High Priest offered His blood and died--for me.

My Advocate appears for my defense on high;
The Father bows His ears and lays His thunder by.
Not all that hell or sin can say, shall turn His heart, His love, away,
Shall turn His heart, His love, away.

Should all the hosts of death and powers of hell unknown,
Put their most dreadful forms of rage and mischief on,
I shall be safe, for Christ displays
His conquering power and guardian grace;
His conquering power and guardian grace. Chorus:

Song All that I Need (CCLI#251645)

In You is strength to sustain me,
And wisdom enough to guide my hand,
Mercy enough to forgive me, And power to finish what You began.

Chorus: All that I need is in You, Jesus,
The fountain of grace that overflows. All that I need is in You, Jesus
You are my only hope. You are my only hope.

In You is fullness of gladness, And fullness of grace for every need,
Rest for the ones who are weary, And beauty surpassing all that we’ve seen. Chorus

Bridge: You satisfy my heart. You satisfy my soul. You satisfy my heart, O help me always know. (2x)

Chorus: (2x)
