Welcome

Prelude
~God Calls Us to Worship Him~
Call to Worship
I John 2:28-3:3

Leader: And now, little children abide in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming.

People: If you know that He is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.

Leader: See what kind of love the Father has given to us that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

People: The reason why the world does not know us is because it did not know Him.

Leader: Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him,

All: Because we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who thus hopes in Him purifies himself as He is pure.

~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sins I John 1:8-9, and 3:10.

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. By this it is evident who are the children of God, who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.” On the basis of these wonderful promises and commands, we ask You, dear Holy Spirit, to enable our obedience, helping us to fervently love our dear Lord Jesus Christ and one another.

We Silently Confess Our Sins

Remain seated to Sing this Song of the Redeemed: Isaiah 35:10 (Psalm 149:5 “Let them sing for joy on their beds”)

Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord
Shall return and come with singing unto Zion
And everlasting joy shall be upon their head
They shall obtain gladness and joy
And sorrow and mourning shall flee away (Repeat)

The Grace of God in Christ

We Confess Our Faith: Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church (universal church). the communion of saints the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
