~God Renews Us in Christ~

We Corporately Confess Our Sin and Need to God
You, O Lord, have promised that if we will confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive
us our sins. We come in penitence asking Your forgiveness, that we may know the joy of Your
presence and the light of Your face. You alone know how often we have offended You. Forgive us, O
Lord, for every unkind thought, every untrue word, every wrong act. Forgive us for we have been
selfish and have not thought of the needs of others. Forgive us for our ingratitude, our neglect of
prayer, our carelessness in the use of money, our forgetfulness of our sacred vows. O God have
mercy upon us. You O Lord are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think,
according to the power at work within us. To You be the Glory.
Create in us clean hearts and renew a right spirit within us for the sake
of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We Silently Confess Our Sins
Song All That I Need (CCLI#251645)
In You is strength to sustain me,
And wisdom enough to guide my hand, Mercy enough to forgive me,
And power to finish what You began.

Chorus All that I need is in You, Jesus,
The fountain of grace that overflows. All that I need is in You, Jesus.
You are my only hope. You are my only hope.

In You is fullness of gladness, and fullness of grace for every need,
Rest for the ones who are weary,
And beauty surpassing all that we’ve seen.

Bridge: You satisfy my heart. You satisfy my soul.
You satisfy my heart. O help me always know. (2 x’s)

~God Meets and Feeds Us at His Table~
Hymn Behold the Lamb (CCLI#251645)

Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away,
Slain for us — and we remember.
The promise made that all who come in faith
Find forgiveness at the cross. So we share in this bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice As a sign of our bonds of peace
Around the table of the King.

The body of our Savior Jesus Christ,
Torn for you — eat and remember;
The wounds that heal, the death that brings us life
Paid the price to make us one. So we share in this bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice As a sign of our bonds of love
Around the table of the King.

The blood that cleanses every stain of sin,
Shed for you - drink and remember.
He drained death's cup that all may enter in
To receive the life of God. So we share in this bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice As a sign of our bonds of grace
Around the table of the King.

And so with thankfulness and faith, we rise
To respond — and to remember.
Our call to follow in the steps of Christ As His body here on earth.
As we share in His suffering, we proclaim Christ will come again!
And we’ll join in the feast of heaven
Around the table of the King. Around the table of the King.

What is the Lord’s Supper?
All
The Lord’s Supper is a Sacrament of the New Testament, wherein, by giving and receiving bread and
wine according to the appointment of Jesus Christ, his death is shewed forth; and they that
worthily communicate feed upon his body and blood, to their spiritual nourishment and growth in
grace; have their union and communion with him confirmed; testify and renew their thankfulness, and
engagement to God, and their mutual love and fellowship each with other, as members of the same
mystical body.
